Terms of use
By using genemap.io and buying a GeneMap report, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not upload a file or pay.
Who we are
Forward People BV (Netherlands) operates GeneMap Research. Contact: hello@genemap.io.
The product
- GeneMap is an informational and educational report priced at €19.99 per DNA raw-file map (unless a different price is shown at checkout).
- You upload a raw genotype file you obtained yourself from 23andMe, AncestryDNA, or MyHeritage.
- We map public literature to markers present in that file and show research notes and clinician-discussion prompts.
- Results are typically available in about two minutes after successful payment, subject to normal service availability.
No medical advice
GeneMap is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It does not prescribe medicines or doses. It is not a clinical genetic test. Always talk to a qualified clinician before changing diet, supplements, peptides, medicines, or care. One person’s story on our site is not a promise of your outcome.
Not affiliated
GeneMap is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Ancestry.com, AncestryDNA, 23andMe, MyHeritage, or any of their brands. Kit prices and download tools on those sites are theirs.
Your responsibilities
- Only upload a DNA file you have the right to use.
- Do not upload someone else’s genetic data without a lawful basis and their informed agreement.
- Provide an accurate email so we can deliver the report link.
- Treat the report as personal; share it only with people you choose (including clinicians).
Payments & refunds
Checkout is processed by Stripe. If something goes wrong with delivery of your report, or you believe you were charged in error, contact support at hello@genemap.io with your receipt email. We do not advertise a fixed automatic refund window on this page; refunds are handled case by case (including technical failures in map generation).
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: no scraping at scale, no attempts to break security, no uploading malware, no using the product to harass others, and no republishing report content as a clinical test result.
Intellectual property
Site design, copy, and GeneMap branding are owned by Forward People BV / GeneMap Research. Public research databases and third-party videos remain owned by their publishers. Your raw DNA file remains yours.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by Dutch and applicable EU law, GeneMap and Forward People BV are not liable for decisions you make based on an informational report, for third-party kit or lab issues, or for outages beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Courts of the Netherlands have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live in the EU/EEA.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version on this page at the time you purchase applies to that purchase. Continued use after updates means you accept the new terms for later visits.
